Considering that political parties didn't exist for the founding fathers of the United States, what party do you think they would sided with?
You can use any founding father btw,
George Washington
Thomas Jefferson
John Adams
John Hancock
etc.

Federalists would probably be Democrats. Large Government, etc. Anti-Federalists would probably Republicans or Libertarians.
